The team

One patient, an international team and artificial intelligence, searching for the therapy that standard oncology doesn't yet consider.

Miriam's Team

A team that formed on its own: medicine, science, AI and technology, each contributing from their own field, with a single goal —to let the tumor's biology guide the treatment. Clinical decisions always remain with Miriam's medical team.

  • Miriam González

    Patient & founder

    Miriam González

Software engineer and tech communicator. She researches her own case and coordinates the entire initiative.

  • Paola

    Genomics & molecular profiling

    Paola

Bioengineer. She helps interpret the molecular data and guide the next steps in the plan.

  • Alejandro

    Research & clinical trials

    Alejandro

A researcher with a doctorate. He works with the team and advises on clinical trials to help steer the case's options.

  • Víctor

    Breast cancer advisory

    Víctor

He brings his clinical experience to help guide the case's decisions.

  • Neuroendocrine advisory

    David

He brings his clinical experience to help guide the case's decisions.

  • Cancer research

    Paloma

Researcher at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Harvard). She studies neuroendocrine differentiation.

  • AI & outreach

    Javi

Using AI, he generates the reports that underpin the treatment proposal, and helps spread the word.

  • Alby

    Artificial intelligence

    Alby

He adapts AI tools to Miriam's case to organize information and ease the manual work.

  • Digital tools & product

    Dani

He builds and maintains the digital tools the team uses.

  • Ceci

    Web & communication

    Ceci

She builds and maintains helpmiriam.com, and makes sure every piece of information is clear at first read.

  • Community coordination

    Afor

She connects and organizes the community members who collaborate on helpmiriam's projects.

  • Alba

    Narrative & copy

    Alba

She gives a human touch to everything that's published. She looks after the story, the tone and the words of the project.

Medical support network

  • Vall d'Hebron · VHIO (Barcelona)

Takes the case to its multidisciplinary tumor board and opens a direct path to advanced-therapy trials relevant to this profile.

  • Molecular oncology · Zürich (Switzerland)

An internationally recognized molecular oncology team. Helps with the biopsy and the molecular analysis, and with the integrated treatment strategy for this breast profile with neuroendocrine differentiation.

  • Precision oncology (USA)

One of the 25 most influential voices in precision medicine worldwide, with hundreds of publications and several FDA-approved drugs. She has taken an interest in Miriam's case to discuss it within international networks.

  • Dana-Farber · Harvard (USA)

A link to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard-affiliated, through the team's researcher who studies neuroendocrine differentiation there.

Integrative Support

  • Metabolic oncology (Spain)

A specialist in the metabolic approach to cancer. Designs Miriam's supplementation and metabolic support protocol.

  • Training & exercise oncology (Spain)

Designs Miriam's training to keep her at .

  • Oncology nutritionist

Specialized in nutrition for cancer patients. Manages Miriam's nutritional follow-up throughout the treatment.

  • Oncology psychology

A psychologist specialized in emotional support for people with cancer.

  • Psychology & giftedness

A psychologist specialized in giftedness. Supports Miriam, integrating the cognitive dimension with the oncology process.

  • Physiotherapy & acupuncture (TCM)

A physiotherapist trained in traditional Chinese medicine. Complements Miriam's exercise and mobility program.

Operating honesty

What we are NOT.

  • We do not promise cures. We document biological hypotheses and their real probabilities.
  • We do not use “fight” or “warrior” language. We talk biology, data and clinical decisions.
  • We do not replace the medical team. We add external analysis; clinical decisions are signed by Miriam's oncology team.
  • We do not publish clinical data without review. Transparency demands rigor, not speed.
  • We're not a perfect AI. The AI we use sometimes hallucinates — and the humans reviewing it do too. If you spot a typo, let us know.
